Some 50 joint personnel together with locals held a cleanup action in RW 01 and 05 Balekambang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/9).
Balekambang Urban Village Acting Head, Benar Sigalingging expressed those joint personnel consisted of PPSU, Water Resources (SDA) Task Force and Jakarta BPBD Task Force. They cleaned up mud with 30-50 cm thick using a pump machine.

According to him, locals who had fled at the Darussalam Mosque, RT 05/05 and the Haqul Yaqin Musala at RT 07/05 had returned to their homes to work together with officers cleaning their neighborhoods and settlements.
"Hopefully there will be no more floods thus residents can rest in their homes," he hoped.
