Commission A Member Promotes Disaster Management Bylaws to Residents

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A Member, August Hamonangan, held socialization the Bylaw number 9/2011 on Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) on residents in RT 14/RW 05 Kuningan Barat Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Monday (2/15).

Commission A Member Holds Health Protocols Monitoring in Pejaten Timur

In the bylaw, he explained, the BPBD plays a role in mapping the area for anticipated flood management.

One of the important roles of BPBD, he explained, was seen when dealing with floods that hit residents in Pejaten Timur and Rawajati urban villages, a few days ago.

As a well-trained agency in disaster management, the BPBD had carried out its duties and functions very well, including coordination with related SKPDs.
