Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission A Member Lukmanul Hakim has called on the Jakarta Provincial Government to reintensify a community service in residential areas. It is deemed important for the success of the flood prevention program in Jakarta.

According to him, the community service had many benefits for residential neighborhoods. For instance is in overcoming the problem of waste, which had an impact on inundation, and prevention of Dengue Fever.
"Besides PPSU, this is part of our shared responsibility," he told.
He assessed that the flood prevention efforts carried out by the city government were getting better. However, the culture of maintaining cleanliness should be intensified with a collaborative participatory model.
"Certainly community service must be intensified to anticipate flooding," he stated.
