1,516 Health Protocols Violators Netted in Penjaringan

In February 1-15 period, Penjaringan Sub-district Satpol PP had netted 1,516 people who didn't wear mask while doing activities outside.

Penjaringan Sub-district Satpol PP Acting Head (Plt), Purnama conveyed, 1,491 violators were subject to social work sanction such as sweeping roads and cleaning garbage, while 25 violators were given administrative fines with total Rp 2,850,000.    

"We routinely carry out mask operation every day to improve public discipline in complying health protocols for preventing COVID-19," he stated, Tuesday (2/16).

In addition to mask operation, his side also carried out health protocols monitoring in 182 workplaces and 128 restaurants/cafes in Penjaringan.

"As the result, written warning are given to 30 workplaces and 5 restaurants/cafes due to violating health protocols, such as not limiting employees work at office up to 25%, not implementing safe distance regulation, and not waearing mask," he explained.

His side also imposed temporary closure sanction to 8 workplaces and 2 restaurants/cafes for violating health protocols regulations.

"We don't find any violation in 144 workplaces and 121 restaurants/cafes," he closed.
