11 People Netted for Not Wearing Masks in Kelapa Dua

Improving community discipline towards 3M, Kelapa Dua Urban Village Satpol PP returned to hold Mask Operation on Jl. Kelapa Dua Raya, Kelapa Dua, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

Kelapa Dua Satpol PP Head, Isyap Syarifudin mentioned, in this operation his side netted 11 people who didn't wear mask and collected their data. They were sanctioned to sweep the roads.

"We asked them why they didn't wear masks, they say they forgot to wear it. We give them option, do social work sanction or pay fine, and they choose social work sanction to sweep the roads and throw garbage in the provided location," he explained, Thursday (2/11).

According to him, mask operation was carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 3/2021 about Implementation of Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 2/2020 on COVID-19 Handling and Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree No. 19/2021 on Enforcement, Duration, and Limitation on Activities Outside Home in Large-Scale Social Restrictions.

Not only imposing sanctions on health protocols violators, his side also socializes 3M to the residents, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining safe distance in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
