Mask Operation, South Jakarta Satpol PP Gives Sanctions to 2,277 Violators in a Week

On February 9-15 or within a week, South Jakarta Satpol PP netted 2,277 violators during Mask Operation which held in 10 sub-districts.

This monitoring is carried out to enforce health protocols

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Harmawan stated, as many as 2,251 violators were subject to social work sanction and 26 violators were fined. Total his side collected Rp 4,750,000 from fines.

"This monitoring is carried out to enforce health protocols in order to break the chain of COVID-19 spread," he asserted, Wednesday (2/17).

Apart from Mask Operation, his side also monitored 906 business places and 466 workplaces and industries.

From total 906 business places, his side gave written warnings to 31 places, temporary closure for 3x24 hours sanction to 3 places, and temporary closure for 1x24 hours sanction to 1 place. While there were no violations found in the other 871 business places.

"From 466 workplaces and industries, 14 were given written warnings and no violation in the remaining 452 places," he conveyed.
