Two Isolation Tents Set Up in Cipinang Melayu for Flood Victims

The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency has set up two isolation tents for residents affected by flooding in RW 04 Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 with the status of People Without Symptoms (OTG).

To get into the camp, everyone must undergo an examination by the local puskesmas

Social Protection and Proverty Handling Division Head, Abdul Salam said, those tents were located under Becakayu Toll Road near Borobudur Campus, Kalimalang inspection road.

They were generally different than other tents. Inside, there was a barrier and the maximum capacity was 15 people or 4 families.

"To get into the tent, everyone must undergo an examination by the local puskesmas," he explained.

According to him, it was one of the efforts to anticipate the spread of COVID-19 for locals.

"We also apply strict health protocols at the location," he stated.
