Violating Health Protocols, Four Business Places in Tanjung Priok Receive Sanctions

Today, Tanjung Priok Sub-district Satpol PP, North Jakarta carried out health protocols monitoring in several workplaces, restaurants, and business places.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Evita Wahyu Pancawati mentioned, her side targeted 9 locations in Sunter Agung and Sunter Jaya Urban Village for today's monitoring.

"From total 9 locations that we visited today, 4 business places were proven for violating health protocols by not forming COVID-19 Handling Team, not making integrity pact, and not requiring employees to wear mask. We gave them warning letters and written warnings to those 4 businesses," she explained, Wednesday (2/24).

In this monitoring, her side deployed 10 Satpol PP personnel.

"Considering high cases of COVID-19 spread, we urge business owners to improve discipline in implementing health protocols. All people must care and be committed to fight against COVID-19," she asserted.

Her side ensured to hold health protocols monitoring routinely. She assessed that health protocols should be implemented in all places, including workplaces and business places because if it is not implemented well there is high potential for spreading COVID-19.

"Always implementing health protocols, because it is our protection to the threat of COVID-19. Hopefully, people can be more disciplined to reduce COVID-19 spreading rate," she conveyed.
