Jury Chairman, M Nuh, explained that the award was given as an appreciation to outstanding leaders with assessment parameters that emphasized efforts to deal with the pandemic, as well as efforts made to minimize its impact on other sectors of life, especially the economic sector.
"These leaders are judged to have innovative performance during the pandemic. The parameters used to assess the Governor's performance are very objective and measurable, as they are based on indicators of handling COVID and indicators of economic conditions, such as unemployment rates and economic movements. As for the parameters used to assess the performance of the ministers are based on the complexity of the problems faced by the ministries led and the policy breakthroughs taken. What is equally important is other efforts made outside the Ministry's main task to help contain the pandemic," he added.
In this pandemic, he also explained that the conditions faced by public leaders in society were getting difficult.
