123 Elderly People in Thousand Islands Have Been Injected with First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

On February 24-25, South Jakarta Health Sub-agency had vaccinated 123 elderly residents in South Thousand Islands Sub-district and North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

It means there are still 20 people who haven't been vaccinated, so we will reschedule it

Thousand Islands Health Sub-district Head, Herwin Meifendi conveyed, vaccination for elderly people was carried out in each urban villages after participants went through registration, verification, and health examination stages.

"Total 143 elderly people have registered for vaccination. It means there are still 20 people who haven't been vaccinated, so we will reschedule it," he mentioned, Friday (2/26).

For elderly group, second dose of vaccine will be given after 28 days after injecting the first dose.

"We keep reminding elderly people who have been vaccinated to adhere to health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.
