COVID-19 Vaccination for Elderly is Socialized to Thousand Islands

It is for those aged 60 years and over

The Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency, held a virtual socialization about COVID-19 vaccination for elderly, on Tuesday (2/23).

It was attended by urban village, sub-district, RT and RW heads, public figures, religious figures, puskesmas heads, health cadres Kampung Tangguh Jaya team, sub-district social agency (LMK), Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) and residents.

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendi said, socialization included the registration mechanism to the technical implementation of vaccination.

"It is for those aged 60 years and over," he expressed.

To register, he explained, they could ask for help from their family, RT or RW and then fill in a number of questions in the registration via dki.kemkes.go.id for residents with Jakarta ID card.

"It can also be done via sehatnegeriku.kemkes.go.id, as well as on the official website of the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN), covid-19.go.id," he explained.

After the prospective participants fill in the list, he added, all data would be sent to the Health Agency and schedule and instructions for the location of the vaccination.

"This vaccination is done in accordance with guidelines and regulations. We will do our best," he stated.
