It was in accordance with direction of Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi that instructed every urban villages and sub-districts in Thousand Islands to build Disaster Preparedness Post in RPTRAs of each regions.
Kelapa Island Urban Vilalge Head, Madi Moh. Dali stated, this post was built as an anticipation in providing quick response if disaster occurs.

Each urban villages and sub-districts not only required to build posts, but also equipped each posts with banners to make it easier for monitoring and visible to public in order to facilitate residents to report in case of disaster.
"Later on, all related agencies such as North Thousand Islands Police, Babinsa, Satpol PP, Gulkarmat, RTPRA administrators, and residents will be involved in this post," he explained.
