Repair work on collapsed Sunter River's retaining wall, RT 10/04 Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta that has been carried out since February is targeted to finish in mid-March.

We are targeting it to finish it in the next two weeks

Duren Saat Sub-district SDA Task Force Head, Achmad Dody Firmansyah mentioned, collapsed retaining wall that had to be repaired was about 14.5 meters long and 2.5 meters high. It collapsed due to flood on Tuesday (2/16). Currently the repair work progress has reached 30 percent.

"We repair it by installing stone gabions. We are targeting it to finish it in the next two weeks," he stated, Monday (3/1).

His side deployed 9 SDA Task Force personnel to repair it which were sometimes also assisted by 5 PPSU personnel.

"Repair work sometimes hampered by rising water level of Sunter River during heavy rain," he said.
