Jakarta Gets 59 New Double-Decker Buses

Transjakarta Management Unit Head, Pergaulan Butarbutar disclosed that the procurement of 56 new double-decker buses are a grant from the state-run City Bus Company (PPD) as an investment. "The brand is Ankai. Hopefully, the buses can operate in December," he stated, Friday (11/7).

He added from 56 double-decker buses, thus far his party already received one unit as PPD's investment.
Head of PPD Supervisory Board, Hasudungan Aritonang said his party also plans to operate other 88 new double-decker bus fleets in the Greater Jakarta route.
"88 fleets operational is prioritized to the Greater Jakarta route, thus citizens living in Bekasi, Depok, and Tangerang can be integrated with Transjakarta bus," he finished.
