East Jakarta Mayor Monitors Vaccination at RSUK Duren Sawit

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, on Tuesday (3/2), monitored the implementation of dynamic vaccination for elderly people at Duren Sawit Sub-district General Hospital (RSUK).

We hope this March we can finish everything

According to him, from total 6,498 registered vaccine recipients, as many as 2,390 people had been invited for vaccination today. But only 80 percent or 1,934 people who can be vaccinated due to participant's health condition.

"Don't be afraid. Elderly people should be vaccinated because they are susceptible to exposure and generally have congenital diseases," he explained.

Elderly who haven't been vaccinated can come again when they are in good health.

He stated that his side didn't limit elderly people who would get COVID-19 vaccine. Therefore, registration can be done manually or online. This policy is carried out because elderly people have limitation.

"Our target must be achieved as soon as possible. We hope this March we can finish everything. Most importantly, we can achieve our target," he asserted.

In this chance, he also handed over certificate symbolically to the elderly who had been vaccinated.
