"This training is carried out in three batches and limited to 1,000 participants per batch," she conveyed, Wednesday (3/3).
For this month, the 4th batch will be held on March 8-10; 5th batch on March 22-24; 6th batch on March 29-31.
"This training is open to health workers from hospitals, clinics, and those who have independent practices who are domiciled in Jakarta," she explained.
Through this training, her side expected it could improve health workers competence, especially in doing COVID-19 vaccination. These competencies include assessment, treating vaccines or cold chains, knowing the dose, and carrying out vaccination or injection.
"COVID-19 vaccine must be treated specifically. Health workers need to understand the signs and symptoms after being vaccinated. Including reporting vaccination. Thus, briefing or improving health workers' competence is needed," she added.
This training, she continued, also conducted to increase number of health workers who have the ability to vaccinate the targeted residents. For example, tens thousand employees will be vaccinated on March 8.
"We still need many health workers who are competent in carrying out vaccination. In order to be vaccinator, they must pass the training," she asserted.
