Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency carried out maintenance on wave barrier located on the northwest of Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf mentioned, in this maintenance, his side casted and repaired the cracked parts due to being hit by waves.
"Maintenance is carried out along 50 meters with wall thickness about 42 centimeters. Apart from holding abrasion, this embankment also become a divider of Sebira Island and ring road for residents and tourists who want to take a walk enjoying the island's beauty," he conveyed, Thursday (3/4).
Harapan Island Operates Disaster Command PostAccording to him, his side deployed 10 Thousand Islands SDA Task Force personnel for maintenance work.
"We have started it since February 24, 2021 and targeted to finish tomorrow," he stated.
