BMKG: Rain Dominates Jakarta Weather This Friday

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted that the weather for the Jakarta on Friday is dominated by rain in parts of regions.

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in South and East Jakarta in the afternoon until in the evening

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning in South and East Jakarta in the afternoon until in the evening," quoted from BMKG's official site.

BMKG also issued an early warning of potential rain with low intensity in Central Jakarta, while rain accompanied by lightning in South Jakarta, medium rain in East Jakarta and cloudy in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

BMKG: Rain is Potential to Fall in Jakarta in Afternooon

In the evening, West, Central, South and East Jakarta would see some rain, while cloudy in North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

"At tomorrow's dawn, light rain will hit West and Central Jakarta, but cloudy in South and East Jakarta. Then light rain is expected in North Jakarta and rain accompanied by lightning in Thousand Islands.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 23 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 60-95 percent.
