COVID-19 Vaccination at SMAN 48 Makasar Targets 500 Elderly People

Local government targeted 500 elderly people from 4 urban villages of Pinang Ranti, Makasar, Kebon Pala, and Cipinang Melayu in Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta to undergo COVID-19 vaccination at SMAN 48 Pinang Ranti, on Friday (3/19).

Pinang Ranti Urban Village Head, Haris Indrianto mentioned, vaccination at SMAN 48 has been carried out since last Friday. In average, there are 500 elderly people who are scheduled to be vaccinated per day. However, not all of them can be vaccinated due to health condition and absence.

"In average, 500 elderly people are targeted to be vaccinated per day at SMAN 48. But not all of them from Pinang Ranti because there are participants from other urban village in here," he informed.

In this activity, his side deployed 25 joint personnel from Satpol PP, PPSU, FKDM, and RT/RW administrators to help securing and managing parking area. As well as helping to direct elderly who will be vaccinated to registration counter, hand washing area, and so on.

"We deploy 20 health workers through collaboration between health centers in urban villages and sub-district," he conveyed.

Starting next Monday (3/22), he explained, vaccination service will be moved to Makasar Sub-district Office and RPTRA Cipinang Melayu. At sub-district office, 500 elderly people from Kebon Pala, Makasar, Pinang Ranti, and Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Villages will be served per day. While vaccination at RPTRA will only serve Cipinang Melayu residents.
