38 School Buses Deployed to Transport Elderly to Vaccination Locations

This Monday (3/22), 38 school buses were deployed to transport elderly people to dynamic vaccination locations in 13 sub-districts.

We can still increase number of bus fleets if citizens request for it

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s School Bus Management Unit Head, Ali Murtado conveyed, starting today his side increased number of bus fleets from 25 buses to 38 buses due to high demand for shuttle service for elderly.

"We can still increase number of bus fleets if citizens request for it. Actually, school bus also plays a role in this vaccination program," he mentioned.

He explained, 38 school buses were deployed to 13 sub-districts, namely Jatinegara, Cakung, Pulogadung, Kramat Jati, Makasar, Pademangan, Kemayoran, Cengkareng, Tanjung Priok, Pancoran, Grogol Petamburan, Tanah Abang, and Kebon Jeruk Sub-districts.

In these 13 sub-districts, school buses are on standby at urban village offices and other locations that have been determined by local urban villages.

For East Jakarta, his side prepared school buses in several urban villages offices, namely Tengah, Cipinang Muara, Cipinang Besar Utara, Rawamangun, Kebon Pala, Halim Perdanakusuma, Pinang Ranti, Ujung Menteng, Cakung Timur, Cakung Barat, and Jatinegara Urban Villages.

In North Jakarta, shuttle service is provided at Pademangan Barat, Pademangan Timur, Ancol, and Kebon Bawang Urban Villages. While in Central Jakarta, shuttle service is provided at Kemayoran and Tanah Abang Urban Villages.

Meanwhile for West Jakarta in Cengkareng Timur, Grogol, Sukabumi Selatan Urban Villages. Then for South Jakarta in Cikoko, Rawajati, and Kalibata Urban Villages.
