29 Face Speedy Trials for Violating PPKM Mikro in Pademangan

At least 29 people have undergone speedy trials and been sanctioned for not wearing masks during the mask operation along Jalan Hidup Baru Pademangan Barat Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Those 29 people are subject to social work sanctions by sweeping the streets

Pademangan Sub-district Satpol PP Head Mohammad Yusda Usman expressed, the mask operation involved as many as 10 personnel of Satpol PP assisted by army/police.

"Those 29 people are subject to social work sanctions by sweeping the streets," he expressed, Monday (3/22).

He explained that it aimed at increasing community discipline in adhering to health protocols in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 and was in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 on the Implementing Regulations of Bylaw number 2/2020 on the Countermeasures of COVID-19 and Governor Decree number 213/2021 on the Extension of Micro-scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

"Hopefully the sanction may give a deterrent effect and become a lesson for the community to better comply with health protocols," he hoped.
