21,640 Violators in West Jakarta have Been Netted Throughout February

The West Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that as many as 20,640 violators have been netted for not wearing masks along February.

20,116 are subject to social work sanctions and the rest are subject to administrative fines in the amount of Rp 210 million

According to Tamo Sijabat, Head of West Jakarta Satpol PP, those violators were netted from eight sub-districts spread over West Jakarta.

"20,116 are subject to social work sanctions and the rest are subject to administrative fines in the amount of Rp 210 million," he expressed, Sunday (2/28).

Based on the operation results, he explained, 4,818 were netted from Tambora, 2,750 were netted from Cengkareng, 2,636 were netted from Taman Sari, and 2,172 were netted from Kalideres.

Then 2,111 were netted from Kembangan, 2,099 were netted from Palmerah, 1,970 were netted from Kebon Jeruk, 1,406 were netted from Petamburan, and 1,678 were netted at city level.

Generally, he asserted, the number of health protocol offenders was steadily decreasing.

"As we hope so far that citizens can further increase the discipline of adhering to 3M health protocols. Certainly we'll continuously do monitoring in the field until the COVID-19 ends," he asserted.
