141 Elderlies on Pari Island Undergo the First Dose of Vaccination

We will continue to push vaccination program, including serving the elderly as well as possible according to the target or deadline

As many as 141 elderly residents in Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, scheduled to undergo the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination at the local Puskesmas.

Pari Island Urban Village Puskesmas Head Sely Yuliana Sendi Manopo said the vaccination today was provided for 84 elderly from Lancang Island and 57 others from Pari Island.

"The second dose will be given 28 days after injection of the first dose," she expressed, Tuesday (3/23).

In Pari Island Urban Village, she explained, there were 190 elderly people being vaccinated against COVID-19. 76 were from Pari Island and 114 were from Lancang Island.

"We will continue to push vaccination program, including serving the elderly as well as possible according to the target or deadline," she explained.

Pari Island Urban Village Head Mahtum, invited residents, especially the elderly, to take part in the free vaccination, to curb the impact of COVID-19.

"Alhamdulillah, I have also been vaccinated and there are no side effects after the vaccination," he said.
