The School Transportation Management Unit (Upas) for Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has announced that as many as 1,760 elderly people have enjoyed the school bus shuttle program since Friday (3/19) until Monday (3/22).

According to him, the highest number was reached on Monday. Since morning to afternoon, the bus managed to serve 1,140 people using 38 buses alerted at 21 locations spread over 13 sub-districts. Each bus was operated by two PJLP personnel, consisting of a driver and an assistant driver.
He furthered that one of the pick-up locations on Monday was at the Rawamangun Urban Village office, totaling 112 elderlies.
There were also Kebon Bawang Urban Village office with 112 people, Cakung Barat Urban Village office with 115 people, Jatinegara Urban Village office with 182 people, and Tengah Urban Village office with 113 people.
"The service will be available until the vaccination for the elderly is complete," he stated.
