Central Jakarta Govenrment intensifies socialization on waste management program at RW level.

We are targeting residents in both RWs to start reducing waste by sorting organic and non-organic waste from their homes

Central Jakarta Assistant for Economy and Development (Asekbang), Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said, waste management movement is intensified at RW level by referring to Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 77/2020.

Waste management program at RW level, he continued, was implemented in coaching activities and Environmental Care and Culture Movement at RW 01 Cikini Urban Village and RW 08 Kebon Sirih Urban Village, Menteng.

"We are targeting residents in both RWs to start reducing waste by sorting organic and non-organic waste from their homes," he stated, Thursday (3/25).

In this activity, residents are encouraged to reduce the use of plastic bags.

"We also hope they can go shopping without using plastic bags," he closed.
