37 PPKS Take Rapid Antigen Test at Ciracas Sports Center

Joint personnel controlled 37 people with social welfare issues (PPKS) on Friday (3/26) night and took them to undergo rapid antigen test at Ciracas Sports Center (GOR).

Rapid antigen test shows 36 negative and 1 positive results

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Purwono stated, rapid antigen test was carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission within PPKS. Because it is feared to cause wider spread, making it difficult to trace.

"From total 37 PPKS, there are 32 men and 5 women. Rapid antigen test shows 36 negative and 1 positive results," he informed, Saturday (3/27).

Those whose results were negative were immedately taken to Bina Insan Bangun Daya 2 Social House in Ceger, Cipayung. While 2 people with positive results were referred to RSUK Duren Sawit (hospital) to undergo isolation and treatment.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budi Novian mentioned, in this operation, there were 136 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Social Sub-agency, Transportation Sub-agency, and TNI/Police.

This operation targeted PPKS that often seen in intersections around PGC Cililitan, Cawang UKI, Cawang Kompor, Pasar Rebo, Matraman, Kalimalang, and Halim Perdanakusuma.

"It involves 136 joint personnel. We bring 37 PPKS controlled in this operation to Ciracas Sports Center," he said.
