Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of March 29

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of March 29.

The number of people tested last week has reached 73,548

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 9,372 specimens. 6,841 of them were to diagnose new cases with 1,014 positive and 5,827 negative results. In addition, an antigen test was also held today, where 1,960 were tested, with 48 positive results and 1,912 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 73,548, while 318,708 people have undergone the swab tests. As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 7,767 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 29 cases," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's PPID press release, Monday (3/30).

Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 27, 2021

As for the total number of confirmation cases in Jakarta to date was 380,706 cases. It should be noted, positive antigen test results in Jakarta were not included in the total positive cases because all were reconfirmed by PCR.

Of these cases, 366,615 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 96.3% and 6,324 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.7%, while Indonesia's death rate was 2.7%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 11.8%, while Indonesia was 11.2%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process was still ongoing. The number of vaccination targets for stages 1 and 2 (health workers, the elderly, and public servants) was 3,000,689 people. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 1,140,388 people (38%) and the total vaccination dose 2 now reached 353,105 people (11.8%).

With the detailed, vaccination dose 1 for health workers reached 123,199 people (109.7%) and vaccination dose 2 included 102,692 people (91.4%), with a vaccination target of 112,301 people. As for the elderly, vaccination dose 1 was done to 431,190 people (47.3%) and vaccination dose 2 included 31,194 people (3.4%), with a vaccination target of 911,631 people. In the public service, vaccination dose 1 was administered to 585,999 people (26.6%) and vaccination dose 2 included 219,264 people (11.1%), with a vaccination target of 1,976,757 people.

Amid PSBB, residents wanting to enter the Jakarta area were urged to carry out independent COVID-19 check-up through the JakCLM via JAKI app. In this app, they could find out the risk of COVID-19 and got various health recommendations according to the risks they have. This contribution would help the government to prevent the diseases in Jakarta.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSBB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

D. Value of Fines

- Individual = Rp 2,750,000

- Place of business to eat and drink/restaurant = Rp 0

- Workplace/Industrial = Rp 0

- Amount = Rp 2,750,000
