Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 23, 2021

Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

PCR in the past week reached 74,949

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 10,186 specimens. From that amount, 7,639 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 815 positive results and 6,824 negative results. Besides, Antigen test was also conducted to 3,533 people with 99 positive results and 3,434 negative results.

"For information, 312,517 PCR tests have been carried out per 1 million population. While the number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 74,949. Number of positive cases declined by 865 cases thus in total it reached 6,186 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated)," she explained as quoted in Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Sukabumi Utara Continues to Promote Prevention of COVID-19

Meanwhile for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 372,871 cases. From that amount, 360,479 people recovered with recovery rate of 96.7% and 6,206 people died with mortality rate of 1.7%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%

For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 14%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 11.2%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

Vaccination process is still ongoing. Vaccination target for stage 1 and 2 (for health workers, elderly and public servants) is 3,000,689 people. Currently, first dose vaccination has been given to 879,229 people (29.3%) and second dose vaccination to 228,255 people (7.6%).

In detail, for health workers, first dose vaccination has been given to 121,834 people (108.5%) and second dose to 98,956 people (88.1%) with total vaccination target 112,301 people. For elderly group, first dose vaccination has been given to 314,312 people (34.5%) and second dose to 5,263 people (0.6%) with total vaccination target 911,631 people. In public service group, first dose vaccination has been given to 443,083 people (22.4%) and second dose to 124,036 people (6.3%) with total vaccination target 1,976,757 people.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

C. Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places

- Administrative Fines = 0

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 2

- Written Warning = 18

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 314

Total = 334

Jakarta Provincial Government is still opening opportunity for residents who want to provide assistance to the others who affected by COVID-19 through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Program.
