Anticipating inundation especially during heavy rain, two channels were widened in Sukabumi Selatan Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. Channels widening work has been carried out since February and targeted to finish in the next two weeks.

Those channels will be widened using U-Ditch with size 60 cm

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Section Head, Wawan Kurniawan conveyed, previously those channels had different size. Even at some points it only used pipes.

"Those channels will be widened using U-Ditch with size 60 cm. Length of channel on Jalan H. Nawi is 227 meters and 220 meters on Jl. Z," he informed, Tuesday (3/30).
