"Through this cooperation, we expect it to produce 6,000 tons of dry grain," he said, Thursday (2/25).
His side built collaboration with PT. SHS because this food cluster BUMN had advantages in form of large expanse of rice fields and excellent irrigation channels. Thus it is hoped to produce high quality grains with high profits.
"We upgrade our cooperation into contract farming in 1,000 hectares land. Hopefully this land can produce about six tons of GKP/GKG grains with potential of rice production to reach 3,100 tons," he informed.
PT. FSTJ will also explore cooperation with PT. SHS' coached farmers in providing raw materials. Furthermore, there is also potential for cooperation in supplying milled dry grains.
"In short, this cooperation ensures certainty of stock and guaranteed prices for Food Station thus inflation in Jakarta can be controlled,"
Previously, PT. FSTJ had built cooperation for unhulled rice procurement in November-December 2020. At that time, PT. FSTJ placed an order for 3,677 tons of GKP with type IR64/Ciherang from more than 600 hectares land in Subang, West Java.
