Phase 2 Trial on Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung Flyovers will Start Tomorrow

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency conducts phase 2 trial or open traffic on Tanjung Barat Flyover and Lenteng Agung Flyover from April 1-6, 2021 at 06:00-22:00.

We also install flip flop traffic lights

Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho conveyed, based on evaluation result of phase 1 open traffic which carried out on January 31-February 2, 2021, additional traffic signs and speed traps were required thus road users could be more careful.

"We also install flip flop traffic lights to separate traffic that passes on the flyover and frontage road," he mentioned, Wednesday (3/31).

Lenteng Agung Flyover Trial Runs Safely and Smoothly

According to him, motorbikes can pass on flyover with speed restrictions. His side also installed closed circuit television (CCTV) on flyover to monitor traffic flow.

"We also install CCTV on pedestrian bridge (JPO) since JPO area has the potential for crimes and vandalism," he added.

Later on , Tanjung Barat and Lenteng Agung Flyovers will be closed again for evaluation and improvement thus the construction can be more safety and comfortable for motorists and road users.

"This flyover is expected to shorten mileage and reduce traffic jam that usually occur due to queue of vehicles on the crossroads," he said.
