After FGD, it continued with reviewing bicycle lanes that have been installed with planter boxes and not, green markings on bicycle lane, bicycle lane signs, and inscription work.

"We want adjustment in design thus it can proceed to physical work," he added.

According to him, vehicle lanes in Dukuh Atas will be shifted. From 5 lanes on east side into 4 lanes, while 1 lane will be shifted to the west side.

"We want permanent bicycle lanes construction to prioritize principle of lane consistency on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin," he asserted.

He added, permanent bicycle lanes, both protected and unprotected (sharing), still require detailed study and inputs from all stakeholds. Thus bicycle lanes can be built perfectly.

"Several roads such as Jalan Prof. Dr. Satrio, Jalan Salemba, and Jalan Kramat Raya have the potential to be built protected bicycle lanes. In the future, we will conduct comprehensive study and receive input from all stakeholders," he conveyed.

For information, Jakarta Government plans to build 578.8 kilometers bicycle lanes until 2030.

In 2021, his side targeted to build 101.2 kilometers bicycle lanes consisting of 34.1 kilometers protected bicycle lanes and 67.1 kilometers unprotected or sharing lanes.
