As many as 138 personnel of South Jakarta Satpol PP were deployed to secure the Easter services at 59 churches in South Jakarta area, on Sunday (4/4).

"We send them (personnel) to support the army and police in order to secure the Easter service in the church

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head Ujung Harmawan said, for each church, there were about two to seven personnel deployed to assist the army and police in security duties.

"We send them (personnel) to support the army and police in order to secure the Easter service in the church," he expressed.

He explained the number of personnel deployed varies depending on the location and the number of church congregations. In detailed, there were seven deployed to the GPIB Eklesia Church in Pancoran, five at GKI Inalta Church in Bintaro, four at the HBKP Church Petukangan Selatan, and two at Sumber Kasih Church in Lebak Bulus.

"Hopefully the church congregation can worship comfortably, safely and smoothly," he stated.
