PT JIEP to Launch Two Food Centers in Pulogadung This Year

PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) is about to add two new food centers in the near future.

They will be launched this year as a facility for tenants and investors in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate

They are the Food Center Baitul Hamd which is located behind the Baitul Hamd Mosque has been completed and is ready to be inaugurated and the Rawa Terate Food Center is still in the administrative process stage.

AVP Corporate Image, Communication & CSR for PT JIEP Assistant Vice President, Galih Geraldi disclosed, there would be four food centers in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate.

PT JIEP Again Holds Blood Donation

"They will be launched this year as a facility for tenants and investors in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate," he expressed, Monday (4/5).

He detailed the Food Center Baitul Hamd could accommodate as many as 36 traders, while the Rawa Terate Food Center had a capacity of 63 traders.

According to him, those food centers were prioritized for street vendors (PKL) in the Pulogadung industrial Estate area, where some of which were still trading in unauthorized areas such as the green line.

"Residents around the Pulogadung Industrial Area who want to do business or sell may also do trade through this food center, as long as they meet the terms and conditions set by the management of PT JIEP," he explained.

He added that the provision of selling and trading facilities is a form of PT JIEP's attention to the community, especially those around the area through a community empowerment approach.

"Therefore tenants and investors who have employees or workers are also facilitated by a place to eat or a canteen that serves healthy, nutritious food at affordable prices," he stated.

As for the information, previously the company had had food centers, namely Food Center Hasanah and Food Center Rawabali.
