PT JIEP Donates 300 Blood Bags to PMI Jakarta

As reported earlier the Jakarta's Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) experienced blood shortage amid COVID-19 crisis, moreover the demand of blood in Jakarta is high.

Responding on this matter, to recover its supply, PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) has managed to collect 300 blood bags from the results of a blood donation, which was held on Thursday (22/10).

PT JIEP Finance Director Arif Ari Sanjaya said all the blood bags from the blood donation activities were donated to PMI Jakarta.

Blood Drive, 150 Volunteers Ready to Secure Supply

"Hopefully what we do can help and meet the needs of blood stock in Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (10/23).

His party also hoped that it was helpful to the community, especially amid the pandemic.

"We'll routinely hold blood donation every once three months. Many employees are enthusiastic about participating in this activity," he stated.
