Mask Operation, 20 Residents Netted on Jl. Warakas

Tanjung Priok Satpol PP, North Jakarta held Mask Operation on Jalan Warakas I, Warakas Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, on Thursday (8/4).

Tanjung Priok Satpol PP Head, Evita Wahyu Pancawati mentioned, her side deployed 12 Satpol PP personnel with assistance from TNI/Police officers in this monitoring.

"20 residents who didn't wear mask when doing activities outside were immediately subject to social work sanction by sweeping the streets using special vests," he conveyed, Thursday (4/8).

Through this monitoring, her side wanted to improve public discipline in complying with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Moreover, according to Regional Regulation No. 3/2021 on Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 2/2020 about COVID-19 Handling as well as upholding Jakarta Governor Decree No. 213/2021 regarding Extension of Micro-Scale Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Mikro).

"We hope this sanction can give deterrent effect to the community thus they can be better in complying with health protocols," she asserted.
