It is targeted to be complete after Eid ul Fitr

The embung (artificial lake) development in the first phase, which is located in the Cempaka Mas ITC area, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Central Jakarta has so far progressed to 70 percent.

Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency's Maintenance Division Head, Achmad Daeroby disclosed it was built on a 1,000-square-meter land.

He expressed that the project work was under control by the Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency, starting from the provision of heavy equipment, materials and workers.

"It is targeted to be co mplete after Eid ul Fitr," he expressed, Thursday (4/15).

The second phase would be built on a 1,500-square-meter land and was still under planning process.

"The embung itself is designed to have a large capacity to accommodate rainwater which often inundates Jalan Letjen Suprapto," he closed.
