50 Dump Trucks in N. Jakarta Unworthy

Waste management effort in North Jakarta is apparently still unoptimal. Several constraints are still detected, including dump trucks which are unworthy to operate.

55 dump trucks produced in 2012, 2013 and 2014 are still roadworthy. As for the 70 others are old and often damage but still worth operating

 

Of the 175 dump trucks, only 55 trucks are still in prime condition and roadworthy. Meanwhile, 70 other trucks are old and often damage but still worth operating and the rest 50 trucks are unworthy thus they will be eliminated or asset abolishment.

Jakarta Receives 2 Dump Trucks Donation

 

Those unworthy dump trucks also cause problems of its own because its existence that has crowded the pool belonging the North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Jalan Alur Laut, Koja.

 

"55 dump trucks produced in 2012, 2013 and 2014 are still roadworthy. As for the 70 others are old and often damage but still worth operating, because its procurement is done since 10-20 years ago," said Head of North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Zainuri, Thursday (11/13).

 

Zainuri disclosed that such unworthy trucks are currently parked in a pool owned by North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department. "50 dump trucks are still under dump process and its existence has disrupted other truck maintenance," he stated.

 

Head of Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD), Heru Budi Hartono added besides North Jakarta, similar proposal also entered into other areas and Jakarta Cleanliness Health Department.

 

"If 50 dump trucks are unworthy, they will be eliminated in February 2015. At this time, its process is still ongoing," he uttered.
