Dossier Impeded, 18 Dump Trucks in S. Jakarta Cannot Be Operated Yet

As many as 18 new dump trucks granted by Jakarta Cleanliness Department has yet to be used by South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department. This is because its operational is still impeded with an handover dossier that has not been handed over to department.

According to Zaenal Syafruddin, Head of South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, such new dump trucks are reaching 18 units, consisting 6 small trucks and 12 large trucks type Mitsubhisi Fuso. "Last year, we received 20 units, as well as 6 small trucks and 12 large trucks this year. Totally, its amount reaches 18 units. Thus far we still use diesel fuel," he told, Friday (9/19).

He disclosed that the large trucks can accommodate between 8-10 cubic meters of trash, while small trucks can accommodate 6 cubic meters of trash.

City to Grant Old Dump Trucks

"Truck driver is from us. They are civil servants and honorary workers," he stated.

He uttered that those 18 dump trucks arrived at his office four days ago or Monday (9/15). But they cannot be operated due to unavailable of handover dossier. "Indeed, the dossier and administration is not yet completed thus we cannot operate them," he explained.

If the administration is complete, dump trucks would be sent to each sub-district in South Jakarta. He hopes, Jakarta Cleanliness Department to immediately submit administration and dossier soon in order to accelerate its operational. "I've also asked Head of Cleanliness Department to complete the dossier soon," he uttered.
