Let's Come and Visit, Artifacts from Prophet Muhammad’s Time Showcased at JIC

The exhibition of artifacts of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions is exhibited at the Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC) Convention Hall, Jalan Kramat Jaya Raya, Tugu Utara Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta. It has been held since today, Friday (4/23) to May 3.

Administrative Assistant and People's Welfare Secretary, Wawan Budi Rohman disclosed, this exhibition was very important and beneficial for the people of Indonesia, especially Muslims, to get to know more about the figure of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.
"The main purpose is the public can know and imitate the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. Thus they inspire exemplary and apply it in everyday lif," he expressed, Friday (4/23).
City Gears Up for the Largest Prophet Muhammad Museum in AncolHe invites all Jakarta residents especially in North Jakarta to visit the exhibition in this holy month of Ramadan by obeying with 3M health protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining social distancing, and avoiding crowds.
"Health protocol remains the main key to preventing the spread of COVID-19 in various activities and it must be obeyed by all," he stated.
He went on to say that there were various relics of Prophet Muhammad SAW such as sticks, swords, arrows, kiswah, turban, beard, hair, keys to the grave of Rasulullah SAW and so on.
Organizer Chairman Muhammad Rifqi, familiarly called Ekky Pitung explained, as many as 35 types of relics of the Prophet Muhammad SAW were displayed in the exhibition. Not only war equipment but also the kiswah of Rasulullah SAW's grave, the Ka'bah of the Usmani era, keys to the tomb of Rasulullah SAW, turban, sticks, footprints, sandals, and so on were also presented.
"Please come and visit, as this is a wonderful opportunity. You just pay Rp 50,000 as donation. Make this all goodwill and sincere to preserve it," he said.
He hoped that it could inspire Muslims to practice the example of the Prophet Muhammad in their daily life.
"The existence of relics of the Prophet Muhammad SAW may increase the value of worship and increase love for the Prophet Muhammad," he uttered.
