BTN JAKIM 2026: Pramono Invites Everyone to Have Fun While Running

The Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, flagged off the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2026 for 5K and 10K categories in the East Parking area of ​​Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Central Jakarta, Saturday (6/13).

Pramono expressed his appreciation for the runners who participated in the international running event. He hoped this year's JAKIM would be even better than last year's.

"Enjoy the Jakarta International Marathon. I'm sure it will be even better than last year, and hopefully next year's Jakarta Marathon will break the record with over 50,000 runners," he said.

He also invited all participants to enjoy the atmosphere of the competition with joy.

"Hopefully you'll enjoy it. Don't forget to have fun while you run. Your smiles will be visible in the photos. Happy running," he added.

Meanwhile, Director of Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), Nixon LP Napitupulu reminded participants to prioritize safety and maintain their enthusiasm until the finish line.

"Safe running, strong finish, and enthusiastic running. Don't forget to update your Instagram after finishing," he appealed.

The BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2026 attracted 45,000 runners from Indonesia and abroad. Besides being a sporting event, the event also serves as a means of promoting Jakarta as a global city and is part of the Jakarta's 499th anniversary celebrations.
