Bus Schools Serve 744 Students During Face-to-Face Learning Trial

Total 744 students have been served by school buses when participating limited face-to-face teaching and learning activities at schools on April 7-23, 2021.

We deploy 50 bus fleets for three times a week

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s School Transportation Management Unit (UPAS) Head, Ali Murthadho said, since the implementation of limited face-to-face teaching and learning trial in schools on April 7, his side had deployed 50 bus fleets throughout Jakarta to provide shuttle service to students.

"We deploy 50 bus fleets for three times a week. In April 7-23 period, there are 744 students who received shuttle service using school buses," he mentioned, Monday (4/26).

50 School Buses Sterilized Before Operate for Shuttle Service

In detail, 160 students were served on April 19, 130 students on April 23, and 105 students on April 9.

Those 50 bus fleets were divided based on zoning and routes. Zoning service included economic and environmental roads, while route service included national roads.

In West Jakarta, it served Zone 3 (Kamal-Kalideres), Route 18 (Meruya-Ciledug-Joglo) and Route 19 (Benhil-Kemanggisan).

In Central Jakarta, it served Zone 5 (Pulogadung-Paseban), Route 1 (Perintis Kemerdekaan-Lapangan Banteng), and Zone 7 (Cikini-Rawamangun).

In South Jakarta, it served Route 6 (Pasar Minggu-Kebayoran), Route 7 (Pasar Minggu-UI Depok), Route 11 (Blok M-Ciledug), and Route 14 (Blok M-Pondok Labu).

In East Jakarta, it served Zone 1 (Pondok Gede-Ranco Pasar Minggu), Zone 7 (Rawamangun-Cikini), Zone 8 (Lubang Buaya-Ranco Pasar Minggu), Route 3 (TMII-Gandaria Pekayon), and Route 4 (Perintis Kemerdekaan-Pondok Kopi).

Meanwhile in North Jakarta, it served Zone 11 (Kapuk-Cideng), Zone 12 (Rorotan-Rawa Bebek).
