According to her, archaeological excavation was carried out by Jakarta PRKP Agency in collaboration with Archaeological Excavation Team from Universitas Indonesia. Technically, excavation was carried out at several points where it was suspected as locations of the remains Kasteel Batavia building.
"After excavation, the result will be reviewed by Cultural Heritage Expert Team who will recommend efforts that should be done to protect Kasteel Batavia," she conveyed.
