Here are Operational Hours for Museums and Theater Buildings during Ramadan

Jakarta Culture Agency has announced that museum and theater for performing arts and culture operates on Tuesday to Sunday will be opened from 8 AM to 3 PM during Ramadan.

We only welcome visitor capacity at 50 percent

According to Iwan Henry Wardhana, Head of Jakarta Culture Agency, the policy was compliance with the working hours of employees in Governor Decree number 440/2021 on Working Hours during Ramadan in 2021 M/1442 Hijri.

"Every Monday, they (museum and theater) are closed for maintenance," he expressed, Wednesday (4/14).

Amid the pandemic, he added, operations also continued to pay attention to health protocols in order to contain the transmission of COVID-19. Visitors should adhere to 3M, check body temperature, no changing seats and passing by, paying for tickets in non-cash and filling in visitor data in the guest book or information system.

"We only welcome visitor capacity at 50 percent," he stated.

As for the information, museums and theater buildings in question were Jakarta History Museum, Taman Prasasti Museum, MH Museum. Thamrin, Joang '45 Museum, Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, Textile Museum, Wayang Museum, Maritime Museum, Cipir Island, Kelor Island, Onrust Island.

Then Si Pitung House, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta Arts Building (GKJ), Wayang Orang Bharata (WOB), Benyamin Sueb Park (TBS), Miss Tjitjih, Art Training Buildings in five regions, Dance and Karawitan Condet Laboratory, and Betawi Cultural Village Area.
