Central Jakarta Mayor Opens Ramadan Fest 2021 at Grand Indonesia

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma opened Ramadan Fest 2021 at Grand Indonesia Mall. This event which is held by Central Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is participated by 30 fostered Jakpreneurs who run business in culinary, fashion, and handicraft.  

There are 30 fostered Jakpreneurs who participate in Ramadan Fest 2021

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said, Ramadan Fest 2021 is a series of event in celebrating Jakarta Anniversary which participated by Jakpreneurs under various sub-agencies.

"There are 30 fostered Jakpreneurs who participate in Ramadan Fest 2021. Thank God, Jakpreneurs from various businesses, such as culinary, fashion, and handicraft can display their products at Grand Indonesia Mall," he mentioned, Saturday (5/1).

In this event, his side expected Jakpreneurs under Central Jakarta Government can compete fairly.

"At least we have direct comparison. Hopefully they can be enthusiastic, full of creative ideas, at least do their best in displaying products at Grand Indonesia Mall. So there is positive competition that develop micro and small entrepreneurs," he conveyed.

His side expected the sales target of Ramadan Fest 2021 can be achieved or at least improved.

"This activity will be a measurement scale for Central Jakarta Government to what extent is fostered Jakpreneur's competitiveness in developing business and products," he added.

He also hoped all shopping centers in Central Jakarta can take a part in fostered Jakpreneur's development thus they can rise from economic situation when hit by  COVID-19 pandemic.

"According to our tagline of Jakarta Rise, Central Jakarta Government continue to assist Jakpreneur to rise from downturn due to pandemic," he said.
