Dhany Asks Residents to Implement Health Protocol in Celebrating Eid

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma urged the citizens to always implement and comply with health protocol on the upcoming Eid.

He conveyed that based on monitoring from RT/RW environmental-based application, Central Jakarta is still categorized as green zone for COVID spread. Therefore, he asked citizens to maintain this status.

"We hope residents can comply with health protocol when celebrating Eid," he said after carrying out assemble with three pillars in Ketupat Jaya 2021 Operation at Monas Field, Wednesday (5/5).

Central Jakarta Polres Metro Head, Kombes Pol. Hengki Haryadi said, during Ketupat Jaya 2021 Operation, his side will prioritize and intensify health protocol monitoring during the pandemic in order to suppress number of COVID-19 cases ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri.

"Reflecting on the previous year, there was a significant increase in number of COVID-19 cases after homecoming. Thus we need to intensify the monitoring," he asserted.

According to him, there are 1,500 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Police, and TNI who will be on standby in seven locations which are considered as economic and community service points in Central Jakarta.

"Joint personnel will educate residents to comply with health protocol and minimize the opportunity for crowds," he stated.
