Jakpreneur's Turnover Increases During Ramadhan Fest in Lippo Mall Puri

Ramadan Fest at Lippo Mall Puri, Jl. Puri Indah Raya No. 3, Kembangan, West Jakarta, brings hope to fostered micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) or Jakpreneurs to increase their sales, especially in the midst of pandemic. Turnover of millions rupiah successfully recorded by these fostered MSMEs.

Three days in Ramadan Fest, my turnover reaches Rp 1,500,000

Ramadan Fest which held at Lippo Mall Puri involved 40 Jakpreneurs who run business related to food, beverage, handicraft, fashion, and cosmetic.

Yuliana (36), one of the fostered MSMEs under West Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency admitted that it was the first time she participated in the event. During the bazaar, her sales turnover had increased. Besides, followers of her store's Instagram accounts had also increased.

"I sell macrame crafts from good quality cotton with prices ranging from Rp 50,000 to Rp 900,000. Some of them are made for car accessories and wall hanging," she explained, Friday (5/7).

Currently, her side developed five types of macrame creations, namely wall hanging, plant hanger macrame, glass, bags, and tissue holder.

In the beginning of pandemic, she didn't have any activities. Then she looked for ideas until finally interested in making macrame creations after seeing macrame creations from YouTube channel. After diligently studied macrame creation, there was an offer to become Jakpreneur.

"Three days in Ramadan Fest, my turnover reaches Rp 1,500,000. Before joining bazaar, my turnover was never that much," she conveyed.

Not only that, she admitted that she was very grateful because now her products and brands are recognized by wider community.

Similar thing also experienced by Yongki (40), Jakpreneur who produces Betawi specialty drink, bir pletok, admitted that his sales turnover had increased after participating Ramadan Fest.

"Now my turnover has reached Rp 2 million. This activity really helps us. Our product is also known by wider community," he said.
