430 Jakpreneurs Involved in Ramadhan Fest Held in 6 Malls

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency holds Ramadan Fest in several malls throughout Jakarta by involving 430 fostered entrepreneurs (Jakpreneurs) in culinary, fashion, and handicraft sections .

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Acting Head (Plt), Andri Yansyah stated, Ramadan Fest which held at Bassura City and Cibubur Junction involved 146 Jakpreneurs, Grand Indonesia 32 Jakpreneurs, Lippo Mall Puri 130 Jakpreneurs, Cilandak Town Square (Citos) 72 Jakpreneurs and Artha Gading Mall 60 Jakpreneurs.

"This bazaar is held through collaboration with various parties. Mall management facilitates free space for Jakpreneurs to market their products. Then BPJS and Bank DKI design stalls to be more attractive," he said, Tuesday (5/4).

Regent Kicks Off Ramadhan Fest in Thousand Islands

Through this event, his side wanted to give opportunity for Jakpreneurs to market their products widely, as well as introducing malls about Jakpreneur's products quality and prices that are competitive. Besides, this event also supports Bangga Buatan Indonesia (proud of Indonesian products) movement.

"It becomes our collaboration with mall for a longer term in the future. We want Jakpreneurs and their superior products to be promoted well," he conveyed.

According to him, Jakarta Government continues to improve quality of Jakpreneurs and their products through various training and mentoring. Therefore, Ramadan Fest 2021 is a part of Jakarta Govenrment's efforts to help marketing Jakpreneur's products both offline and online.

"We hope Ramadan Fest 2021 can support Jakpreneurs to grow and develop in difficult times due to COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, we want to improve collaboration and participation of various parties in supporting the Integrated Entrepreneurship Development program," he mentioned.
