259 People in RW 09 Cengkareng Barat Undergo COVID Vaccination

Around 259 residents living in a densely populated settlement, RW 09, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng, underwent the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination at SDN 15 Pagi Cengkareng Barat, Jalan Pulo Harapan Indah.

It is held in some RWs, but this time we focus on those who live in RW 09

Cengkareng Barar Urban Village Head, Raden Ilham Agustian said it was compliance with the Gubernatorial Regulation number 90/2018 on Improvement of the Quality of Settlements in the Context of Arrangement of Integrated Settlement Areas.

"It is held in some RWs, but this time we focus on those who live in RW 09," he expressed, Friday (5/7).

COVID Vaccination for Elderly in North Jakarta Reaches 85 Percent

Of 259 people, he explained, eight of them had not received vaccinations as they did not pass the medical examination, because of high blood pressure.

"The vaccination today is for residents aged 18-59 years old or non-elderly. By so, their antibodies will be much more resistant to the disease," he explained.

Even though they had received vaccine, they should always apply health protocols to prevent COVID-19 in their daily activities, such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, washing hands with soap and running water, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility.
