Main Pier and Tourist Sites on Pari Island Sterilized by Gulkarmat Personnel

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency's Sector 8 personnel conducted disinfectant spraying at main pier and tourist sites in Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

We use 15 liters disinfectant liquid to sterilize public facilities in the area

Gulkarmat Sector 8 Personnel, Putut Jantoko said, disinfectant spraying was carried out to strengthen health protocol in order to prevent COVID-19 spread in the area.

"Our personnel sterilize locations that often used by local residents and tourists for their activities," he explained, Monday (5/17).

Museums and Cultural Destinations are Closed

According to him, three personnel were deployed from Lancang Island Guard Post to carry out disinfectant spraying using one water sprayer unit.

"We use 15 liters disinfectant liquid to sterilize public facilities in the area," he mentioned.
